I believe you can get electric fans that fit in the heater tubes, which blow amounts of heated air into the car when it is stationery or moving slowly in traffic. Has anyone had any experience of these fans and if so do they work effectively?

TPV2cv in France have these, although IIRC ECAS might be able to help?

Citroen fitted them to some Amis as standard - certainly to Supers, dunno about 8s.

my 8 doesnt have one... i've never thought about needing one. all the cars run plenty warm enough and the heaters provide plenty of fresh warm exhaust fumes to keep you warm or high.

Might be because on the Super the heat exchangers are more exposed and smaller, then combine into a single box which then heads into the cabin. I can't recall - does the 8 do that box, too?
