Sam.
perhaps it makes it easiier to spot any 'little local difficulties' such as the one pictured below?
Not such a big problem though, as the owner of that one was given a replacement, presumably built to the same standard...

I'm quite interested in that lot actually, been watching it since it was listed. Why paint everything yellow though? :?

Still, if it all stays in one piece ...

That's not just poor, it's appalling. How old was that chassis Ken?

RT,
not sure how old it was, but that photograph was taken in Oct 2007, so a maximum of 8 years.

Its age would only be relevant if the failure was due to fatigue, but now you've mentioned that...

On this subject, if you're around at some point this week or weekend, I could do with a hand to turn your shell over and then I'll get that broken shocker bolt out.

Should I report this item to Ebay as being a 'counterfeit, fake, or replica', since the vendor is claiming it's one of my chassis?

I've just asked him politely to change the details, but if that's not done by tomorrow...

Dave,
the principal difference is that the width of the flanges on the main rails and legs is 50mm not 35mm, others include tubular crossmembers for the suspension canister/damper mounting points rather than box section, slotted tubes on both front and rear canister end fittings, front bump stops welded along all 4 edges (not just 2).

For details such as the damper mountings, these photographs should help.
