I have a 1973 Zundapp ZD-40 I've been doing up in very small, slow stages for years. I really should get round to finishing it. I think its the only one in the UK off of the top of my head.

both lovely bikes....my c70 looks like crap but gets a full service every 400 miles and runs like a dream....they are indeed the 2cv of the bike world...
Love zundapps too...did a run around Ireland on a 1942 zundapp 750....very grunty and cool...

i loved my c90, not as much as it loved its swim!! but i really regret selling it, and often look at them on ebay...

there too expensive IMO for what they are, (well you must know what i mean, a bit like 2cv's these days..)

i bought mine v cheaply and made a few bob on it... not to profitere but to move it on..

mine had a yokohoma on the front, which was useless in the rain, but boy for a small bike could it scream! used to get it flat out before changing gear!!

only problem with doing that is it had a habit of sheering its exhaust studs!!!

Mine had 9800 on the clock when I got it, its a 1980 c70 and I do about 4000 a year on it....and I have to say its damn comfy too...awesome in floodwater
Does about 120 mpg and yes they used to be so cheap....all of these once dismissed utillitarian vehicles seem to be going crazy pricewise.... a shite but mot'd c90 will still hit £500 on ebay
My first Ami 8 was £5 if I would drive it away....that is only twenty years ago...

we are going way off topic... ...point is that the 2cv is like a rolls royce phantom compared to a moped.....comfort is relative....not having to put your foot down to balance when you stop at the lights.......priceless....

i had mine in some pretty deep water..

i was riding through a puddle, that even with my work boots on (above ankle by 2 inch) on the footpeg, i got wet feet, engine went way under (well not quite up to the plug, but v close... ) kept going.. was amazing!!!

I actually considered swapping my c70 for a 2cv or selling it because of the money i'd make and putting it into the 2cv but I just cant bear to part with the honda....she is just so damn practical and fun.....£16 tax, £40 insurance.....
