8-) So where are you now :?: Still based in Lerwick :?:
I enjoyed going into "Captain Flints" bar in Lerwick when I was in the Shets,it was good "live" music most nights.
Oh .... ;) ....and dont go paddling in the sea at Muckle Flugga ....it being the most Northerly point of the British Isles I had to take a paddle and piss in the sea .... ;)
Mind you .... ;) ....it was { } 6 years ago.
Enjoying following your trip.
best regards
T.

I'm in Northmavine, a place called Bardister, overlooking Gluss Voe. I've done some damage to my left shoulder I'm afraid, so I've been to a local doctor today and I'm now on a fair few painkillers including quite strong ones :-( I'll be back on the ferry south to Aberdeen this time tomorrow-if my shoulder can cope!lol. I highly recommend a week or two in the Shetlands, it's a wonderful place and if you need to see a GP and have a prescription for something... IT'S FREE! Lol!!

Well my Shetland adventure is drawing to a close, I'm onboard the MV Hrossy waiting for it to leave for Aberdeen. I don't want to go.

Shetland, I will return.

Left the ferry at Aberdeen at 7am and got to Edinburgh at 10am via a park and ride, it's bloody expensive and cheap (in a nasty way). The only thing that's cheap is the petrol /£1.32 a litre. Was £1.51 in Shetland(on Bressay, it was £1.65!!!

Can't see Bressay having 98 octane, so it'll be standard 95 unless that was/is the price of diesel....Can't say I took any time to check. :-)
