Where have you northerners got this perception that anywhere 'south' is only two minutes from the international? It's still a bit of a mission, well over an hour from here!

Called the guy this morning - nice chappy - he's in Halisham, not Worthing  For you Northerners, that's about an hours difference. Is there anyone in the Eastbourne area who could be better placed to pick it up?

Thanks Tree, I'm only going there and back as a flying visit. No need to stop over (although I'll make an exception if you can Sort the bed ith the 18yo). I've got to visit that Andy Morris on the way too.

Btw, the alps and dolomites are a good 600 miles south from here and they usually get more snow than you!

Ok
Its a bit of a long shot possibly, But Spanners (jon) has offered to look/fix this gearbox of mind, (which almost certainly used to belong to him)...

But I need to get it to him, I'm in Northumberland.. and jons down south somewhere!!??

Not really in a hurry, as the weather here is crap, although a load of snow has melted away 2day..

But just putting the word out to see if anyone can assist??

Cheers Matt

Decathlon.fr are selling these for 19euro
http://www.decathlon.fr/base-seconds-gris-id_base%20seconds_8060112.html

Even after postage to the UK its cheaper than £60 on ebay uk. Anyone able to pick one up for me? Or a couple if anyone else is interested?
