Lucky you Matt, I've just had the renewal through for my £300 Xantia HDi and the cheapest I can get is £620. I've got full no claims, an SP30 3 1/2 years ago, I'm 37 and I work in the motor trade.  It costs a shade over £200 to insure the Ami and both 2CVs though.

Re: Insurance I think I also spend the same amount filling the bloody thing up every week though D'oh!!!  Bet its the Motor trade bit that bumps it up!!. as I'm nearly 37, full no claims but haven't yet got the SP30, Lucky I suppose, as the old scooby doesn't half go some!! and I think its group 17, compared to the xantia which is probably a group 10 or so!!! Its all just bloody CRAZY!!!!!

Re: Insurance lol indeed, yet it would cost 1000 to be insured on work van, and im insured on the navara at no extra cost (2.5 litre truck!!)
