 Re: The O/T thread! Yhere must be hell of a lift with thoose foils - I think the guy said 0.3m2 each one and the boat must weigh many many tons. The other thing that gets me is the position, right at the back, where the centre of gravity must be near the middle of the boat. The engineering etc is brlliant.

Re: The O/T thread! Chris there all ver clever. Often they have a 'wand' at the front which catches the water and adjusts the tip of the foil giving it mor lift i its not flying or less if its reaching limits.
Theres a lot to go wrong since the forces are tremendous.

Re: The O/T thread! Anyone got a windows 7 Professional 64-bit install disk they could lend me? I have a machine running 7Pro but it's in German! I've found a way to install English over the top, but it's not perfect (some software still defaults to German) so I need to do a new install. I have the licence key - just need the disk.
Can anyone help?
