Is your Ami already back?????

I've managed almost 30 years of driving only Citroen's (older then 25 years........)
I'm turning 47 this year....

Thanks ;)
Ami is on its way, I think.. Dont know when its back in NL.

Audi is bought as an extra car... and a modern car is nice to have/drive.
none of the old cars will be sold, we only have one extra on the drive way.

We did the same a couple of years ago, we bought a Peugeot 406 as a big practical modern car. We would probably still have it if I hadn't stacked it. What's up with your ami?

On the saturday we left Alcaniz to go to St Tropez for a few days the gearbox decided to make some grumbling noise at 5000rpm, and crunching when changing gears..
Called ANWB, they sended a beavertail, which brought is to a hotel in Berga (spain), car the the local citroen garage.
ANWB has a policy that we must be on the road within 48h (or to know a date when the car is fixed.
Called them monday agian, after 48h , to know the status. They haven’t heard anything from the garage, so gave us a rental car to proceed the holiday (new honda civic). Collected that on later that day in Girona, but back too late in Berga to get our luggage out of the ami.

did that on tuesday, after the garage told me they wont be able to fix the car before the following friday.
Anwb collected the car, and that will be transported to my 2cv specialist...

still had a lovely holiday though..

Hi all, just popping back for a nosey, tried before but couldn't do the password reset thing for some reason. I'm here because I found some Citroen workshop manuals (the ringbinder ones) in the loft and bunged them on ebay (we are raising funds for a shed, an actual shed not a wheeled one unfortunately). This has ignited a nostalgia in me  I miss you all!

Anyway, nice to catch up, glad the forum is going strong, it's nice to have a friendly 2cv place to check in to.

I don't even see any 2cvs anymore, it's already the first thing (or 5 things) on the post-lotto-win-shopping-list, so maybe one day I'll be back properly!

P.S. I've been away so long I almost listed the ebay stuff as Citreon CV2 manuals ;)

Lou.

Cheers Neil, I hope to! Hope you are well, I'm slowly going through threads to see who's doing/driving what. Makes me a bit sad though. Matt often tells me off for selling them, I guess you were all right about that! I'm now the proud* owner of a lovely* MK1 astra
:(

Does anyone know if seth's still around?
