Sorry 'bout that,
but the idea that they could rearrange the floor plan make me chuckle.

VW based Lomax?

Speaking of which, am I right in thinking new drivers will now need to pass a full motorcycle test (and reach the age of 21), before they're allowed to drive a three wheeled Lomax or Burton, etc.?

wickes killed my C5 - although it wasn't really the weight of the ducting and tape, it just liked the carpark so much it took a low-loader to move it

270kgs? Is that all? The way the car was driving and the way it looked I'd have thought it was closer to 1/2 a ton. I'm pretty unimpressed by that then. I am glad I didn't take the 2cv though, they would have come through the bootfloor. I bet it would have driven ok though.

guessing at 7mm paste back tiles and erred on the heavy side of 15kg/m and usually 1m/carton

if youve gone all posh and got 9mm Porcelain up it to 20Kg/m
Natural stone 20-30kg/m which exceeds the safe load bearing capacity of 1/2" gyprock nailed to studwork

18m youve got a big bathroom - usual bath wash basin and wc in the smallest room to accommodate comes in a 14m walls and 3.5 floor

see bet you never thought bathroom tiles could be soooo intresting :?

go on weigh a box

I might do, seeing as my plumber/bathroom fitter couldn't be arsed to stick them on my walls today like he'd said he would, I could pop in and grab a box to weigh one in the morning. I'm as pissed as a mattress right now though.

The 106 made some pretty odd noises with 270kg of tiles in, but not, as I imagine, as odd or terrifying as the noise my bathroom fitter will make when I get hold of him and stick them one by one up his arsehole.
