WTF!

I just discovered this thread and that I haven' t introduced myself properly yet, but better late than sorry!

My name is Soren, I'm 39 years old and I live i the middle of Zealand, Denmark.
I have two Dyanes, a 68 D6, which is under rebuilding and a 68/ 79 Dyane 6.
These are my first A-model's and I'm so hooked!

Thanks Neil!

Yep! They are mine both of them. The gold Pallas is not running at the moment, because the clutch is dead :O(
So I have to pull out the hole drive train to change the damn clutch.
Damn had it only been a A..... it is so much easier

Besides that, it is in at very very good condition. It is from 79 and has only driven 47.000 km from new.
It is a old ambassador car, belonging to the Venezuelan Embassy in Denmark. They bought it in Paris at a Citroen dealer and then took it back to Denmark in 79. I am the third owner.
It has at little surface rust in the bottom of the doors, vings etc., but nothing serious

Thought I would introduce myself too. Bought my first 2cv about 3 weeks ago. She is called Donna (for obvious reasons!). Bought her from bikers turned 2cv enthusiasts, a complete restoration jobby and she is looking awesome. I believe at one time she was used to encourage brits to vote to adopt the euro. Not had much trouble with her yet, except for the passenger mirror falling off and me struggling with the gearbox for the first few days!
This pic was taken last weekend at a 1940s event as even though shes an 80s girl they were more than happy for her to join in as she fitted in pretty well ...as well as a car with an EU flag on it ever can anyway!

thanks for the welcome Neil!

Always liked the look of them but it was my boyfriend and his family with their green and white D*lly who really got me into them. Donna was originally promiced to him, the only problem being that he hasn't learnt to drive yet, so I snapped up the chance. She is a cheap, cheerful and economic car and in this day and age that can't be a bad thing.

Nice to have you along, I've never seen Donna before, has it been recently painted like that? it's different! Will you be going to any 2CV meetings this year?
