But later 2CV's are actually "3CV(3 horses)", they just didn't want to change the car's name ;)

If one uses the car rarely, buy a "Smart charger"/ maintenance battery charger. It will keep the battery healthy when the car is not used. They are not expensive. I use them during winter storage.

I've got a little wheel on the battery terminal to turn it off if I'm not using the car. I bought a switch to fit in the car so no lifting the bonnet - haven't got around to fitting it.

Jonathan, maybe a good idea? Or maybe the battery is just tired. I like Bosch ones, they seem to last really well.

Firstly, they're ponies, not horses. :P
Secondly, I used one of those battery isolators on my Minor, and it was the worse pile of chod imaginable. It corroded inside the screw-in part and the battery became permanently isolated until I binned the isolator.
Thirdly, I don't (currently) have power in the garage, so a trickle charger won't work. Nor a solar powered charger, that has previously been suggested to me. Think about it.

Had a long drive with the 57 in the rainy south-limburg countryside. Car behaved well. But there are a lot of idiots on the road. Racing to get to the shops and St.Nicolas arrivals...

More endless polishing & refitted the back wings and doors after taking them indoors for a hard machine polish. My arms are so tired.... Looks nice though :)
