Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Changed my gearbox oil. It was sludgy and a horrible colour. Glad I got around to it, I did do it some time ago, I have been wondering if any water got in more recently when I had to pressure wash the engine bay due to leaving the oil cap off..
Be a shame to ruin it, I it was a nice Rick Pembro 'box. I might change the oil again soon to be sure.

Backwards and forwards along the A51 to Lichfield twice yesterday with my bass gear for a wedding gig - roof off all 4 trips and especially nice at 11pm in the pitch black - haven't done that for more years than I care to think about! Even found time to re-time it a little more advanced after I retarded it too much when worrying about pinking.....

Crossbox to swan neck joint remade and its still chuffing a little. I'll look again as it could be the lip is eroding. Can't see it very well.
