Find the real reason why my Dyane didn't start anymore...

There was only -11'C and snow storm, so it was possible to change oils and repaired rear wheel. After oil change, the starter made it's last sign of life, so opened the starter...

Just cleaning, made it work twice, sadly I hadn't new brushes at my home. So, tomorrow to shop and by new set and change them, or go to garage and take reconditioned starter...

And some driving also. It was just the right time to go fuel station, tank was near empty. Could put there 25,5 litre, to 25 litre tank...

(How those -tags work, i couldn't make them work?)

Jasu,
is that a heater you've got mounted under the bonnet? ;)
Air filter box relocated to provide room for it...

Yes.

The heater is from Kleinbus, quite enough for Dyane...

Testing it, over ten years without use and started without any problems. No computers, no problems...

I had a stud coming out of the head of my 57, shearing away the aluminum threads. So this morning i uncouple the exhaust the six nuts of the manifold and the airfilter. Put the manifold a bit aside, drilled the rest of the old thread out. Put a helicoil in, stud cleaning the joints. Thighten the nuts on, the exhaust, fuelline and filter. Turn of the key, pull the starting button and al is running well again and silent now ;)
And all that in 45 minutes. It's great to work on old 2cv's they are much easier.

It's not kW, something (need to check for sure) Kcal what is near kW if I remember correct. But it make very hot air, and very much, so leaking door gaskets isn't an issue...

And as you can see from our weather report, that heater is needed now...
