Sunday visit to the Bursledon Brickworks with the Puddleducks where they had a small (very) classic show:

Well worth a visit in itself, this is the only working steam powered brickworks in the country, albeit only a museum now.

Popped out this afternoon in the Deuche to go and take a look at a 1933 Austin 7 4-Seat Tourer. Gorgeous! Just hope it's still available when the probate is completed on my mother's estate.

Aw, my grandad had one of those in blue and black. I loved going in that, they are very cute.

Yes, they are rather cute. I've wanted one ever since I can remember, certainly far longer than my love affair with the Double Chevron marque. :)

After a pretty crappy eight months in my life, I'm finally returning to Shetland tomorrow. Will be up at 4am, in the 2CV before 5am, and heading for Aberdeen Harbour for tomorrow night's crossing. Just under 450 miles, and should get to Stonehaven for lunchtime. Just got to get through the rest of today with trying to empty my parent's house ready to put on the market. Been really busy the last couple of days, trying to get as much done before I leave. Hopefully not much to leave for my brother and sister to finish.

Tried to install cheap rev counter off of eBay - grr! Little response as readin around 200rpm instead of 800 when on lowest cylinder setting....so cut the fucker up and found there is a variable resistor in them that you can adjust and now Bingo! Shows tick over at 800rpm.....and has the coolest blue led backlight.

Left Worcester just gone 5am this morning. Had breakfast at Tebay, and I'm now in Coupar Angus for lunch.
