Re: Cool 2cv Pictures 7 That's somewhere in the north of Spain, judging by the sign on the front of the wagon. My guess is that the 2CV was used as a crumple zone by a larger, heavier vehicle, which rear ended it hard enough to tear the back end of the shell from the chassis, then folded the chassis in the middle when it contacted the rear wheels and suspension arms. The car wasn't all that sound structurally even before the crash, as the B post parted from the sill, as did the floors from the rear box section... ken knightley wrote: Judging by the recovery webbing and cables lying about I would think that car went off the road down a steep bank and tumbled base over apex and was then dragged back onto the road.
