It was. I did think about stopping and saying "Hello!". Then I thought "Fuck it" and went to work instead.

Saw an impressively weather-beaten black 2CV in Redditch, Worcestershire at about 12 noon on Saturday, 29Nov. I was so surprised (haven't seen an A-series on the road for months) that I swore loudly.

Less surprisingly, its nearside brake light wasn't working.

Plum and Custard in good nick spotted by my GF on Friday early afternoon turning off the A1 into Biggleswade. She said it was driven by an "Old Boy". Can't imagine what she means by that lol.

Watched "You've Been Framed" last night... and in quick succession there was a clip of a Dyane going off a road into a river, and then a garage mechanic getting stuck under a car bonnet while stood next to a 2CV.

Had to stop and look at this after my work colleague mentioned it yesterday. It's not far from Pulborough in Sussex on this very upmarket dealers' forecourt:

I had a good look and it's on a brand new chassis and is very tidy. Unbelievably, they want just over 9K for it which seems a lot to me.
