Not seen that before, very nice, though some of the 'patina' does look a little deliberate.

There's a similar one on ebay.

It was at the Pompey Puddleducks Camp this Sept:

We talked to the owner who said it was for sale, not sure how serious he was, but it does have a 602 lump in it and looks unmolested otherwise.

Isn't it Rick Pembros?

I believe it used to be Ricks. The guy who owns it now is friends with Rick, chap called John Bennett. Nice chap, had quite a good chat with him.

It's the first time I'd seen it too. I quite liked it, looks pretty solid and according to the owner it's like new underneath. He drives it every day apparently.

I agree the patina does look a bit deliberate, oily rag I think, but it does look a whole lot better than the fake patina you find on some newish VW's. That looks terrible in my mind.

Had a few spots recently. First one in Exeter, I've seen this around a lot but only just managed to get a couple of shots of it.

Then yesterday I had a job in Hoo and Silly 2cv's was right next door to the site.

Post Re: Anoraky spotted thread.
I've seen so many lately I'm almost bored of them:

Really nice T reg blue car I often see parked at the side of the A27 near Shoreham - I thought it was Jono at first.
Red/black Charleston in Bristol last weekend.
Red/black Charleston southbound on the M23 last night.
Proper rough yellow/grey D*lly in Shoreham last week.
Orange Dyane on the A27 a couple of weeks ago.
Red Dyane in Portsmouth.
Blue AKS400 in Eastbourne.
Greenishyellow AK pickup thing in the new forest.
Red spesh in Poole.
Green/white D*lly on the A27 near Chichester this morning.
Bob in his 1952 car t'other day.
Bob's wife in her "195? AZU" a couple of weeks ago (602, ripple bonnet, normal doors, ripple body, 1950s plate, you get the picture...)

So yes, many!
