Spotted a lovely B reg, silver, series 1 CX safari earlier - it was heading towards Plymouth city centre and I was heading out. The older gent driving smiled and waved. Made my day! :D

Monday 17th March, 5:45pm: Worcestershire A4440, near to the Rushwick turn (Hams Way / Grove Way)

...a red and white 2CV - I'm not sure if it was a D*lly or just a collection of panels Neither did I catch the plate, though we did wave at one another Maybe it was someone on here...? I was in a borrowed red Special, heading for the Wye Knots' club night at The Tarrington Arms, near Hereford

There is a woman who drives about the area in a D*lly so I suspect it would've been her - seen her driving about a lot and used to wave at her when driving to 6th form and back

Unusual for you to go that way, you normally stick to the M5/M50. There's hope for you yet. ;-)

You should have seen the way that I came back!

I decided on the Worcester route purely because I was in the borrowed 2CV and I wanted to get the roof off for a while (I've always missed that with the van) After being on the 4103 for a while I thought I'd do 'shortest route' on the satnav and it took me through that piece of open woodland down to the 417, which I'd never been to since we were there last (a couple of years ago now)
