On Thursday night in letchworth out walking the dog saw a C regd H van with a dodgy looking AKS but larger style rear door conversion driving through the town, then a couple of streets away a red x reg Dyane parked on the road , then a few hundred yards up saw a bx, mint grey charleston and a panhard all on one drive.
Worked out the drive is the proprietor of chevronics garage, but still , a bit surreal seeing all those within 30 minutes in the same town :)

Sunday morning, 10:15ish

ASDA, Queslett, West Midlands - a C-reg red Special with mid-blue front wings, a middle aged chap driving
I did wave, but as another middle-aged chap in a silver Focus, I was eminently invisible...

There are quite a few 2CVs (&at least one Dyane) around here; it's almost worth considering a local get-together, as none of them seem to make it down as far south as the WASPS

Catweazle?

very good!

Just to be clear, that's a chap in his middle age, not of the Middle Ages, though I'm sure the technology of a 2CV wouldn't faze him...

Yellow 2cv in 'The Yob', by The Comic Strip. It was repeated the other night on one of the dreadful commercial satellite channels. The car had a minor role and appeared a couple of times.
