Just spent most of the week in East Sussex, at a place called Pett Level. Didn't see much 2CV action, apart from a smart black one in Hastings, parked on the sea front. Also oggled and drooled over a very nicely aged DS Safari parked up in a little village.

Saw a very tidy white/grey d***y charging the other way near Wallingford yesterday - gave it the thumbs up but as I was in the Evoque not sure I got a reaction......

That's the one I posted a superb photo of a couple of pages back. I saw it again last week.

Worst photo of a 2cv ever taken in Hastings yesterday?

Ha-ha! That's the one!
Strangely enough, all of Hastings is that blurry in real life. Turns out your photo was pin sharp! Or maybe it was the bottle of Duvel I drank on an empty stomach in the sunshine.

Earlier today near Caumont L'Evente in Calvados. It was four-up so pretty slow on the hills. They must have wondered why we didn't overtake, but I was having too much fun watching them and missing my old AZLP.

I was actually on my way to cycle from Conde sur Vire to St Lo, across the border. I registered my C15 here in 2004 and it's YM 14, so he's owned the AZLP for a while.

We were only talking about French registration 'plates the other day; I know the last two numbers indicate the department in which its registered but that as far as my knowledge runs...

Unfortunately that has all changed now (in the last year or 2) with the department only added at the end of the plate - not part of the number/letter combination. This way you do not have to re registered if you move house to another department etc.
