Chris,
if this information is accurate, it's still going, albeit suffering nowadays from the effects of global overcapacity in automotive production.

1.5 million Ami6s?
Wonder how far into the distance that line would have stretched... ;)

Am I correct that the Dyane was also made in the Rennes Factory. I wonder if the factory is still in some shape or form.

My Xantia was made at the Rennes factory in December 2000 and registered in March 2001.

Spotted a P&C D*lly at Upton on Severn Blues Festival yesterday. Not that I'd normally be at a blues festival, but we were playing, god help us. Even though we're not at all a blues band we went down very well indeed. Anyway, there was someone there in a P&C D*lly. :)

Bumper weekend of spotting for me; Saturday a white 2cv (H reg, one of the last?) parked up in Ampfield in Hants and on Sunday an incredible convoy of five, then three, Tractions, one of which was cream, on the A272 between Winchester and Petersfield. Was there a local event on somewhere? Also spotted a fellow club member in her Green Bamboo following this lot, but at some distance. Quite a treat, all those TA's.

There was a classic car picnic at Amberley museum this weekend, but that was probably a bit far from there.
