Wow, that looks so cool! I love the grey, it's like the utilitarian style of the ripple bonnets but in a later (useable) car. bet you got some looks with that timber through the car like that? couldn't get away with that in any other car!
When I went to the timber yard, the guy there asked me where my grandfather clock was. Switched on guy!, there are heaps of people here in Oz who have no idea what a 2CV is. Too bad for them!

I guess 2CV people are pretty spaced out in Australia? Do you meet regularly with other Citroen owners like we do in Europe?
We regularly meet with people around Brisbane (there is about 25 of us), I am not aware of any other 2CV meetings, except the yearly Cit-in, which is for all Citroen owners (Citroens are not that common here, not even new ones).

Here is a photo of our 60th anniversary meeting:

You can check out what we get up to on our 2CV Queensland club website.

(you can blame Wal, he told me about you lot hiding over here, and I finally managed to find you!)

What can I say about myself that you don't already know? OK, maybe not...

Hi All!

I am Steve Rebello from Bangalore, India. I am an avid 2cv lover and I have 3 cars - a saloon, an aks400 Van and a Dyane. I grow coffee in a place called Chikmagalur, which is part of the Western Ghats, which is one of the world's biodiversity hot spots. So this is wild country, and a playing ground for a hardcore 2cv lover like myself. I will post pictures shortly.

Anyway, I in turn would like to congratulate the admin and the creators of this site. It goes to prove that all 2cv lovers are a passionate, creative, intelligent and a friendly lot...the site reflects just that, in fact it is so...."2cv"! - beautiful to behold, multifaceted, completely functional, humbly reliable and funky!

Cheers, and see you all soon!

Steve.
