These aren't really spots to be honest, as currently in Villeneuve sur Lot S/W France, and since Sunday, seen at least a dozen 2cvs, three meharis now, an ami super, two visas, countless R4s etc etc. Everyone seems to still either run a diesel pug 205, an ax, or a C15...... Basically heaven. For those that think they've all disappeared, you need to spend a few days down here. Chod Central mate.

Re: Anoraky spotted thread. Its standard issue here. I tried chasing down a 2cv the other day but my little van didn't have the speed.
2 farmers in the village run C15 s and i look out of my kitchen window at two sitting in the field as spares.
BUT everyone still seems interested and excited when they see an old deuche. The local bus driver flashes his lights and put the thumbs up every time he sees us.

Re: Anoraky spotted thread. Wow , that Belgian nurses 2CV4 is my old car, still with the 30 year old yellow two horses sticker! Bought in 1979 from Lovekyn of Kingston for £600 , sold years later to a guy from Leicester called Alistair who moved to France a few years ago. Great to see it again after so long
