 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
I like the wide arches on the Mehari!
I think I need to email this guy and take a trip out to see him, my list of cars to feature here just got a little longer, I love the flat4 belgian 2cv racers...

 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
I quite like this. Normally I hate adventure bumpers, but with an adventure kit like this.... One of my fav cars is Kim Page's (I think?). Esp with its blue door.

 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
looks nicer than that now, had the blue door resprayed and that rear wing, after she got reversed into as the driver mistook it for a skip?

 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
Not sure about that personally, the colour schemes a bit odd and the wings are neither here or there, it doesn't look like a raid car, it's too tidy. the first pic looks like it was done in a studio for a photo prints company. As a rule, I'm not that much of a fan of aftermarket wheels on 2cvs, but shiny rims on a mehari is just so right. That green one up there and the white one with the chrome burton wheels both look the dogs, although the green one's got too much room under the front arch. Nice work with the pics Neil.

 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
this is AFAIK was actually offered by Citroen sometime around late '81. It was called the 2cv 'Aventure'. Basically a club with all the 'Aventure kit' applied. I think Martin Jones of the CDFDPS has a 'Aventure' - is that right Hamstall? here are some pics of the 'aventure kit' as marketed by citroen in the 'accessoire' range (thanks to www/guillon.2cv.free.fr - whom i *borrowed* the following images off!)

 Re: Cool 2CV pictures.
I like raid style cars but they've got to look like they evolved out of necessity. This looks like it was styled by a 12 year old, the shape of the cut-out in the rear wing just looks odd, the usual teardrop shaped cut-out seen on every raid car since the sahara looks miles better. And whats with the randomly placed handles? I can't see them getting enough use to justify being there. Sorry but I can't help thinking this is just a marketing exercise by citroen's sales team and bares little resemblance to a proper raid car.
