well out of my family im the 3rd A-series owner! kinda leaped a generation though

my grannie and her sister both had one, grannie had a maroon charlie, trying to find the reg to trace it, and her sister had a dyane, my dad worked for local citroen dealers back in the 80s and had a D*lly as a company car before he left....

and then we end up present time and ive got Lily and dads now got Fred - the D*lly :)

Post Re: previous A-series
My dad sold them new :o and had loads and later got my mum in to driving a red one which we got new which we had untill it got written off with me in it but it has not changed my way of 2cv's strangly ;) car was a minter :(
Probably why they don't want me having one for my 1st car, my own personal 2cv was a 1987 white 2cv that i bought for £40 (that was to bring it home) from leedstown from a couple who had it in there garden and got it home and running and i learnt to drive in that beast , only done 70K exhaust was past it sound ace BUT the chassis had gone in all 4 corners i think and seat belt mounts were gone soooooo dad said i don't want to do it and decided to sell it in the paper to Luke :) . Later on (2 years) i was at my neibours and on ebay motors at the time scrolling down and seen the red one we have now. it was grey and needed a bit of work like spraying and a tiny patch of welding. He suprised me because he said that he did'nt win it and i was quite disapointed. Later that day he took me down the field of his and oh my he had got it and it was such a suprise. I just had to drive it. That is our little project still and we love the car. Got it for £275. Bonus car. :P I won't bore you any more

If anyone's interested i will tell you more about my white 2cv :?:
