another question i got... i was talking with matt the other day, and he was saying that in the 50's, 2cv's had drains from the windscreen seal out the side of the car, as they new it was going to leak so they put a pipe to drain it, and on the modern (well newer) 2cv's they dont have that, has anyone come up or replicated this idea, as my car actually leaks in through the window seal i found, and its very rust where it does so... at least the water isnt sitting there permenantly i geuss... bit its prety damn rusty

yer id geussed new metal, but i meant to prevent it from happenening again, does anyone have a ripple bonnet 50's? cos if there taking the windscreen out could see what the design was all about....

also, where is the best place to get a galvanised chassis?? (that will last a long time!) i was looking at the 2cv city, i remeber someone mentioning SLC chassis??

I'd go for an SLC any day of the week (or an original spec one from ECAS). SLC is "Ken", who posts here regularly.

Don't buy the 'best selling' best priiiiiiice one. Buy an original from ecas or an slc.
