Well I'm going to stand up for them. All telly is staged and here is a programme that is pretty free in terms of what they do stick in the script. Also, they are the only car magazine show in the world that can be truly independant and honest (maybe ABC in Australia) as there is no commercial issue with them slating a car and no advertisers to play up to.

...and I thought this week's feature was a bit of fun. I do think the G-whizz is hideous and car-makers have to get serious about designing a car for the real world and real people in mind and they did actually make this point. Plus James' engineering of a trickle charge off a diesel generator is a truly good idea - the MPG would be incredible!

...and as for their mocking of 2cvs and the like - so what? We spend our days getting off on the fact that people "don't get it" and for me that's part of the attraction!

I love the show and it's only up there with "The Restuarant" in my opinion. But that's all it is - an opinion.
