Hmm. I use a perfectly normal 14mm 3/8" short-reach socket quite happily...

Plenty, but not really that I'd want to be dealing with at the roadside.

Are you wondering about spares as well? I'd be tempted to stick a spare points/condensor set in, plus a pair of spark plugs, fuses and some wire to go with the crimps, and maybe a spare fan stashed under the bonnet somewhere?

Have you got a spark plug socket in there? I don't use a long reach socket for the fan, just a normal one on an extension, if they're slim enough? I also find it useful to have some spanners duplicated, mainly 11s. As far as big screwdrivers go, it might be worth looking out for one with a shaft which runs right through the handle, so you can abuse it with the hammer without shattering the handle. If you're wanting to save space, a reversible screwdriver, like you'd find in a motorcycle tookit is handy.

An old kingpin and a small hammer to tap it with to remove the fan to get at the points....[bottom right of pic]....and a sturdy screwdriver to lock the flywheel teeth with whilst undoing the fan.
A sawn off 24mm spanner to adjust handbrake ....[top left of pic]
A timing rod [I use an old tentpeg ....bottom right of pic]

Spares?
Black coil, used spark plugs, used ignition cables, fuses, lamps.
Had a spare fan, but my dad wanted it back to make his 2cv complete again.
Since I had 2 broken fan's I want a spare one

Don't have an ingnition kit with me. Run with a 123 ignition, mainly because adjusting points is a thing I never learnd, or wanted to learn...
In case my ingnition dies, I'll call the friendly ANWB for a tow back home
