Post Once to see Paris and dance, romance!
My chinese wife is an art history teacher in Chengdu and desperately wants to see the Louvres - I'm just an old fart from Australia and definitely have to see the Moulin Rouge! We both are looking for an English speaking couple from Paris to show us around in the second half of July for e few days - possibly in a 2cv! I have visited France many times in my youth and still remember a couple of words, but I will need a lot of fresh advice about romantic accommodation and reasonable food! On top of that all: it would be fun and interesting to have some happy local company! Think about it . . .
Ame from Australia

Maybe a bit to cramped in Salbris this time of the year - decided to rent the duck from the dutch and raid the Provence once again since thirty years! My chinese wife will love it: good wine and dine - romantic little hotels with big soft beds - and absolutely great scenery!

Yess yess - that's it! Mark waits in Ventabren near Aix-en-Provence with the cars, and Rien sits in the office in Amersfoort, Netherland. One week 599 Eoros, two weeks 899 with insurance, support and pickup! That's very tempting, isn't it?

It wasn't so long ago that you could buy a 2cv for €600!

Time flies, Russel! I was once young too, then got a little bit older - not much - and getting younger now by the day!

In Switzerland in the eighties the old ones were about 1000 swiss francs, but they were on the way out, rusted and worn - could only be used for another three years till final rego! So: I always bought another one, moved the best parts, and painted her up again to look like new! Got an old hood from a friend and took it with me as far as I could! But the rust was soooo bad in Switzerland that we had to put plywood floors into the front, fasten the blistering sills with sticky tape and paint the whole wreck ( lovely car ! ) with oven tar! Just to keep it together for the last three years! Okay?
