one specialist i would recommend in this neck of the woods is Graham Wilson - he's based in Callington, Cornwall.

Heh! I used to be based in Callington, Cornwall! In fact - I grew up in Stoke Climsland and my family go back 8 generations there. Sad to have to leave it really, but no jobs...

Where were they then? Kelly Bray, round by Colin Hill?

small world! Graham is located just off the main road between callington & kelly bray - there's a primary school on the right as you head out of callington towards KB. just after there's a left turn just after - that's south hill road. about 800 yards down there on the right is an old abattoir (nice) & that's where he works from. He's been there 10 years, he previously had a much smaller workshop down in Calstock.

Yep! Know South Hill Road, and I remember the old garage down at Calstock!! 'round the corner from the chippy and just above the pub. That used to be a local haunt!

Bizarre.

I am the off-topic king!

Equally worrying is the sort of 'specialist' which wants to fit 'cheap' parts. I bought a crankcase breather from one in Yorkshire a couple of years ago and it lasted all of 3 months. Wish I'd bought the real thing to begin with, the engine started leaking where it never had before. The only response was something along the lines of "we've fitted loads and nobody's ever complained, try another one". Ahem, no thanks, not that daft mate.

wasnt from me only fit oe
