Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Got Bored doing the seat in the cold. So swapped the gear ratios. LNA 4 speed gears on to a 5 speed main shaft. GS____1st - 3.818 2nd -2.294 3rd - 1.500 4th - 1.133 LNA___1st - 4.545 2nd -2.500 3rd - 1.607 4th - 1.147 ps Circlips/Snap Rings without holes were designed by the devil! ps Where has the the Jerome Cats -2CV site, gone? Jeroen Cats died in an accident between a truck and his Ami 8 service about 3 miles from my home..... if I remember right at was 2007.... His father managed the website but has choosen to take it offline... Somebody else is now reconstructing bit by bit the website (without permission).. Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Gearbox output flange sans splines. Doesn't look much, but a local machine shop would charge about £150+. May try and get the splines "wire eroded", else its a weld to the the syncro flange, not that bad as its a weld similar in dimensions to skinny prop shafts. WIP Attachment:
