We have an English phrase for that... "Too Much Welly" (from Wellington boots put on in the mud and drive your 4x4)

Some more thinking, consulting and scraping head, that coupling for visco need to re-desing. Some ideas are ready, need to show them and speak a lot with one transmission designer, a friend of my friend...

But I'm trying to make with this at start, drive nice and get the supercharger away before there is better solution...

Cut one of these, and have plastic welding to keep cut parts together...


A tight fit, but still it is possible to get fresh air to driver and see all gauges...


And installed rear brakes, again. Now after cleaning and new gaskets, and bleeding, now both front and rear brakes work like they should. Easy task to do on my own, with about 1 meter long tube I was able to press brake pedal and operate bleed nipple on rear brakes...

Also need to weld some holes near rear wheels, and bump stops to new places because at original place they are just where drive shaft is. Change fuel pump to different version and take supercharger and EFI out and put carburator in. Fuel filler isn't ready yet, it is waiting curved hoses. Need to raise rear end little, change roof and then it might be ready for MOT..?

Brake Bleeding.

I have used these, but now they are somewhere lost...

At this time, i had arms long enough to bleed front brakes, and rear with that tube. Those automatic bleed nipples might be very easy to use...

The fuel filler might be something like that. Filler tube on that photo is from -56 DS, but it is same part to -75 on D-series (not Estate, it is different)


Coupling with silicone hoses, I have tested on my other Dyane on filling tube for some years, and no melting etc happened...


Covers for prop shaft and rear diff...


After mounting those, it is possible to make rear seat to fit...

Very tidy.

Covers finished. Rear seat cut, mounting need to make. Fuel filler tube parts made...

Some welding and windshield washer reservoir needed. And door gaskets...

Rear seat modified to fit. Need to do some locking mechanism...


Bump stops fitted...





There is still some rustwork to do on that side, the other side is now ready. I had forgot how much I hate welding on with rusted thin metalwork, glad there isn't so much anymore. But on my other Dyane, there is plenty of that waiting...

welding to the original metal is delightful torture,...a good bit then fiz\zzzz and a flaming hole.
So good when it's done though.

Rear seat finished, At some point is need to make new covers, original vinyl is scratched at too many places...








Now it is possible to operate seat locking mechanism by one hand, and Iäm sure the seat locking is much solid than the original solution...

Also finished rustwork, thank god it is over...
