I've emailed Biodeuche to see if they're coming.

 how rubbish are minis, they could only manage to complete a lap 0.45 seconds faster than a 2cv? What do they do with the extra 300cc?

I'm trying not to sneer at the minis too much, they might surprise us...

Not long now, 18 days(?). Four, maybe five minis entered so far, four Belgian cars too. should be a large grid, they're expecting three cars in each garage. Going to spend a full 12hr day working on the car tomorrow.

Been working on the car till 8 most nights, getting there...sort of. Unfortunately, I've gotta take my old Toyos and Firestones off and swap them for some new Toyos for a few day, which is a shame.

But now you're legal on the autoroute you can run the engines in as well as the tyres. That's what I was hoping to do but I don't think we're going to have the time, things are getting awfully close to race weekend and as its stands we've got three lacklustre engines and webers that don't work, and tomorrow I've got to replace the sill, b pillar and two doors that got wrecked at croft then fit the new polycarbonate windows I made. I still dont think there's a plan for the engine work we need, and our fourth driver has pulled out leaving us bereft of rolling road access.

Actually starting to panic a smidgen now. But I'm confident we'll have it all sorted in the three weeks we've got. Which car are you working on Louis?

The Green Electrician car, Paul Taylor's. My engine doesn't have the same loom as the engines we have (the same looms as yours will have I think Russ?) and I'm not sure what the plugs are from.
I made a start on the body work with Dalty today, after the car had a bit of a fuck up last year. Made mess of a driver's perspex window today as well, it truly is horrendous. We don't have rolling road access, and one of our drivers hasn't actually been in a 2cv yet, he is also yet to reapply for his ards, I think it's going well.

Glad it isn't just us. I saw that car at Pete's a few weeks ago, looks like you've got a fair bit to do. Should have asked as I could have done you a set of windows when I did ours. They came out quite well.

I must admit I'm a tad excited about coming up tomorrow to try and get something achieved.

...and we did achieve! Thanks to Joolz, Dave and Mike our car now has half it's windows in and the damaged passenger side all repaired ready for paint. Still no engines completed though, and no testing mileage done yet. What is it now, 17 days to go?
